In order to enlighten our marketing fraternity regarding the importance of deploying social media selling strategies and connecting with their precise customer groups, Asia Pacific Institute of Digital Marketing (APIDM) organized a webinar on “Social Media Selling”, on 28th November 2019. Mr. Amithe Gamage - a veteran Entrepreneur, Corporate Trainer and a Consultant; joined as the facilitator to conduct the webinar. He pointed one crucial factor which is that if businesses have not yet incorporated social selling into their funnel, it is likely that they are already losing business to more digital savvy competitors.
The webinar was a great session where a variety of aspects related to social media selling were covered, including the identification of the right target audience with the right platform, formulating a social media branding strategy, content strategy and prospecting, engaging and building quality relationships, generating people’s trust and purchase intent via social media and many more. The attendees learnt how to leverage social media as a modern day tool to engage and serve customers while creating a proper sales funnel which will ultimately lead to improve conversions and drive revenue.
